Join the miLES team to celebrate the holidays, miLES style, in a pop-up store, on December 16th! 

 

We are co-hosting this event along with Zero Food Waste Pop-up (a project that grew out of the miLES Do Tank!) and Makeshift Magazine, who is celebrating their latest issue, Harvest.  So, not only do you get to raise a glass and cheers to all the merriment of the holiday season, but you also get to explore the challenge of food waste and learn how to help the city reach it's goal of zero food waste by 2030!

Zero Food Waste Popup 2015 is a prototype event bringing together NYC's leaders in reducing and eliminating food waste. It is a product of the miLES Do Tank 2015.

Makeshift is a field guide to hidden creativity. From homemade aircraft in Nigeria to drug smugglers in Mexico, Chinese hackers pushed up against the Great Firewall to Haitian communities pushing back against marginalization, we believe ingenuity can be found everywhere if you know where to look.
